I am a BACP-registered psychotherapeutic counsellor based in London. My training is in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy, which is a flexible, transparent approach to therapy and is suitable for a wide range of issues, and for individuals, couples and group work. Before I started practising as a counsellor, I worked for 25 years as a researcher in the area of human motivation and decision making, studying the impact of psychology and culture on the choices we make. I have worked across multiple cultures, and have a unique understanding of the stresses created by cultural differences and the global work environment.
In addition to my private practice, I also work in an honorary capacity within an NHS primary care setting. I work with a range of issues and have specific experience supporting people dealing with depression, anxiety and issues of isolation and loss. I also have a personal interest in supporting those who are struggling with the impact of childhood trauma.
